I’m broadening the subject area covered by this site with this video, setting up a new semi-contact category. Some semi-contact combat sports can lack the excitement of full-contact fights, but I’ve always found the impressive kicks, and the speed and skill of a taekwondo match, more than makes up for this and provides some greeat entertainment.
So to kick off the new category (pun intended!) here is a compilation of the best Taekwondo action from the 2008 Beijing olympic games:

This is definitely the most entertaining fight that I’ve watched in a long time. True showmanship - you really get the feeling that both fighters went out to not just win, but to win in style and put on a show. Check out all the spinning backfists and spinning cresent kicks and stuff:
