Kuoshu San Shou Highlight Reel

The Kuoshu contests shown in this compilation video were amateur full contact contest between fighters trained in the ‘internal’ martial arts of Tai Chi, Xing Yi Quan and Bagua Quan. There is some really great stuff included in this 10 minute montage, featuring very unusual fighting techniques that you don’t often see in full contact fights.
Full Contact Tai Chi Fight

It’s fascinating to watch this Sanda san shou fight even though neither one of them would last a minute in an MMA fight. It’s between two chubby middles aged Tai Chi masters and you can tell neither one of them has ever been in a full contact fight before because they both start off very tentatively, but they do get going as the fight progresses.
Women’s San Shou Fight Video

I think this is the first women’s san shou fight that I have featured. It’s only a short video and it doesn’t actually show the full fight, but what it does show is quite good and I reckon it’s worth watching. It’s from Born to Fight VI, it’s Celeste vs. Erin in the 115lb and under category:
Shaolin Monk Fighting

Here is video of a Sanda San Shou fight in Shanhai. Accordig to the person who posted it on youtube the guy in red is a Shaolin monk. The filmig goes a bit crazy in the break between rounds, but it’s ok during the fight itself:
